What is a CMR?
A CMR is a document used in international transport in the countries that are party to the CMR Convention. CMR documents are also called international road consignment notes. The document proves that the cargo was transported successfully and that the cargo meets the requirements of the international convention on road transport.
How does it work?
The system receives documents in various ways: by email, scanned in the driver app, imported and so on. Users used to move these documents into their places in the system by hand. Because the system can process many kinds of documents used in the company, their flows keep growing, and to make the system easier for customers to work with, we started improving document uploads.
The latest update has made registering CMR documents in the system faster. After reading a CMR document, Terra Logistics automatically finds where it belongs in the system and puts it in the right place. Like other documents, CMRs can be received into the system by reading them when they arrive by email, or by reading the documents the driver submits through the mobile app. CMR documents can also be uploaded together with a whole package of files by drag&drop.
